Production Helper 2nd Shift, Food Packaging

Own the production line at Schwan's Company, preparing popular retail brands like Red Baron®, Tony's®, and Freschetta® in a high-volume food manufacturing plant. You'll unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. You own the 2nd shift kitchen floor at a high-volume food processing plant in Nashville, staging raw materials and running semi-automated machines. You load, stage, and inspect product, complete all production and quality paperwork, and keep the line moving at pace. You report to the shift lead and work alongside a tight-knit crew that values communication and safety. You will own the operation and setup of automated packaging machinery filling, cutting, sealing, and packaging sauce packets in a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing plant. You'll work with auto packagers, cutters, and fillers, monitoring runs and resolving equipment jams. The role sits on a production team in a GMP-compliant facility, with opportunities to advance to lead or senior operator. You will own the full production cycle on 1st shift, transforming raw ingredients into finished bakery and pastry products at our Elk Grove Village facility. Working within a 100-year-old international group with 23 global sites, you will operate mixing, extrusion, polishing, and catching equipment while maintaining strict food safety standards. This role offers cross-training across multiple stations, giving you a complete view of the production process from ingredient to shelf.

You own the 2nd shift machine operation for the kitchen production line, loading semi-automated machines and keeping the line moving from 1:30PM to 10PM. You handle raw materials, push pallets, and manage a hot, fast-paced environment. Working with GMP standards and LOTO training ensures safe operation. This role requires physical stamina and attention to detail. You will work Monday-Friday with some weekends.

You will own production operations in a food manufacturing facility, handling raw prep, culinary, or dish roles on the 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) in Hatfield, PA.
