Line Attendant, Food Manufacturing - 2nd Shift
Overview
Own the production line at Schwan's Company, preparing popular retail brands like Red Baron®, Tony's®, and Freschetta® in a high-volume food manufacturing plant. You'll unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. You'll work on a team that keeps operations running smoothly, with opportunities for advancement. You'll work 2nd shift (5pm-3am) and earn $16.00/hour plus $1.50 shift differential.
What You'll Do7
- 1Unpack raw materials and stage them for the production line using manual pallet jacks.
- 2Mix ingredients according to recipes, using mixers and scales to ensure exact proportions.
- 3Assemble products on the line, operating conveyor belts and packaging machinery.
- 4Inspect products for defects, removing or repairing any that fail quality standards.
- 5Record waste amounts and report quality issues to supervisors.
- 6Maintain cleanliness and follow GMP and OSHA regulations in all tasks.
- 7Adapt to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.
Requirements6
- 1High school diploma or GED preferred, but 0-1 years of experience accepted.
- 2Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk on concrete floors for extended periods.
- 3Strong manual dexterity for repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
- 4Willingness to work 2nd shift (5pm-3am) and both plant locations.
- 5Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and recording waste.
- 6Commitment to following safety and quality procedures.
