As a Batch Maker, Machine Operator, or Production Operator, you'll own food production and quality in a Niles, IL facility. Work on Mon-Thu or Fri-Sun shifts, with pay from $19/hr to $23.55/hr. What You'll Do8
- 1Operate mixers and batch systems to produce consistent food batches per recipes.
- 2Run production lines for packaging, labeling, and quality checks, hitting daily targets.
- 3Handle warehouse duties: picking, staging, and moving materials with forklifts or pallet jacks.
- 4Follow GMP and HACCP protocols to ensure food safety and sanitation.
- 5Inspect products for defects and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
- 6Maintain equipment by cleaning and performing minor adjustments to prevent downtime.
- 7Document production data in ERP systems and log batch sheets accurately.
- 8Collaborate with team leads to meet 3-5 production goals per shift.
Requirements8
- 11+ year experience in food manufacturing or processing (e.g., BIMBO, Kraft Heinz, Georgia Nut).
- 2Ability to stand for 8-10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
- 3High school diploma or GED.
- 4Availability for 1st shift (6am-4:30pm), 2nd shift (4pm-2:30am), or weekend shift.
- 5Basic math and reading skills for recipe and spec interpretation.
- 6Willingness to work in cold or hot environments near ovens or freezers.
- 7Steel-toe boots and hairnet compliance for GMP standards.
- 8Pass background check and drug screen.
