Packaging Project Manager, Food Solutions
Overview
You will own packaging projects from concept to launch, driving 5+ concurrent initiatives across the food solutions supply chain. You will lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with R&D, procurement, and manufacturing to deliver on-time, on-budget results. What You'll Do6
- 1Lead packaging projects from initial concept through commercialization, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory standards.
- 2Coordinate with R&D, Procurement, and manufacturing teams to define packaging specifications and timelines.
- 3Manage project budgets, track milestones, and report progress to stakeholders using MS Project or similar tools.
- 4Design and test packaging prototypes, utilizing CAD software to create and iterate on designs.
- 5Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve packaging sustainability.
- 6Ensure all packaging meets food safety and quality standards, working with QA and Regulatory teams.
Requirements6
- 13-5 years of experience in packaging project management, preferably in food or consumer goods.
- 2Bachelor's degree in Packaging Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, ArtiosCAD) and MS Project.
- 4Strong understanding of food packaging materials and regulations.
- 5Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams.
- 6Ability to thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
