Overview
Overnight Weekend Material Handler at Strive Pharmacy will own inventory management and local deliveries for a 3rd shift role. You will handle receiving, putting away, and restocking raw ingredients, medical supplies, and packaging materials while supporting efficient shipping, packing, and workflow continuity. You will collaborate with pharmacists and teammates to maintain quality, temperature-controlled handling in a regulated environment. This role is unique for combining warehouse operations with local delivery responsibilities in a healthcare setting.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and inspect for damages to ensure quality and accuracy
- 2Load, unload, and transport boxes and ice pallets to support timely deliveries and packing operations
- 3Maintain inventory accuracy by putting away items in designated storage locations and replenishing shortages
- 4Support packing lines by supplying materials and assisting with boxing and packing to sustain workflow
- 5Ensure items meet quality standards and regulatory requirements through ongoing checks
- 6Identify opportunities to improve inventory control processes and contribute to best practices implementation
- 7Communicate with team members, pharmacists, and other departments to support smooth operations
- 8Assist with shipping pack out processes including labeling, boxing, and documentation
- 9Operate warehouse equipment safely and maintain organized storage areas
- 10Adhere to temperature-control standards and safety protocols to protect product integrity
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 21+ year of experience in warehouse operations and/or inventory control preferably in pharmaceutical or compounding environments
- 3Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- 4Strong attention to detail and accuracy handling inventory and documentation
- 5Familiarity with inventory management software and systems
- 6Excellent organizational and time management skills
- 7Effective communication skills for cross-team collaboration
- 8Forklift certification (preferred)
- 9Experience with warehouse management software (WMS) and NetSuite (preferred)
- 10Ability to lift and move items up to 75 lbs in a primarily on-site environment
Salary Insight
$42 - $46k per year
