What You'll Do7
- 1Pick and pack compounded medications using barcode scanners and inventory software with 99.9% accuracy in the first 90 days
- 2Log incoming shipments and update stock levels in ERP systems daily, flagging any discrepancies before they reach patients
- 3Execute cold-chain protocols for biotech compounds, using temperature loggers and insulated packaging to maintain 2-8°C at all times
- 4Inspect freight for damage and process FedEx and UPS shipping labels, coordinating with couriers for next-day delivery
- 5Redesign packing station layouts to cut pick time by 20% by week 8, using lean methods and Kanban
- 6Handle urgent cold-chain shipments with dry ice and gel packs, documenting all transfers in the temperature monitoring dashboard
- 7Train new hires on GMP and OSHA safety standards for handling hazardous materials in the lab floor
Requirements7
- 11-3 years in warehouse or fulfillment roles, preferably in pharmacy, compounding lab, biotech, or cold-chain
- 2Proven ability to work without supervision, making autonomous decisions on priority orders
- 3Exceptional attention to detail, as errors directly impact patient safety
- 4Comfortable shifting between high-volume packing, receiving, and urgent shipping within the same shift
- 5Ability to stand and walk for full shifts, perform delicate packing tasks, and lift up to 50 lbs
- 6Experience with inventory software like ShipStation or NetSuite is a plus
- 7High school diploma or equivalent; PTCB certification preferred but not required
