Warehouse Associate II, DOT HAZMAT & Logistics
Overview
You'll own bulk material picking, finished goods order fulfillment, and DOT HAZMAT shipping compliance at PCCA's Houston warehouse, supporting 3,000+ compounding pharmacies. You'll coordinate with production, quality, and supervisory teams daily. What You'll Do10
- 1Pick bulk materials for production and deliver to designated warehouse areas within the first 30 days.
- 2Pick, pack, and ship HAZMAT materials per DOT air and ground requirements, ensuring full compliance.
- 3Stock finished goods from production and receiving to designated shelves, maintaining accurate locations.
- 4Process customer returns and inventory receipts in the ERP system (MFG-PRO), verifying quantities against packing slips.
- 5Count all incoming and outgoing products, compare to packing slips, and inspect for damage or expired dates before shipment.
- 6Report shortages, damages, and mispicks on forms and notify Warehouse Supervisors of corrections needed.
- 7Label and certify inbound material as product upon receipt, verifying quantity, quality, labeling, and address against customer orders.
- 8Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards, and load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts.
- 9Sample inbound material and deliver samples to the quality lab for testing.
- 10Follow PCCA Standard Operating Procedures and assist with special projects as required.
Requirements9
- 1DOT HAZMAT certified for both air and ground shipping.
- 23-5 years prior experience in a warehouse environment.
- 3High school diploma or GED.
- 4Experience with MFG-PRO or similar WMS and RF scanner operations.
- 5Forklift experience required; pallet jack proficiency.
- 6Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for sustained periods.
- 7Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and internet navigation.
- 8Strong organizational, interpersonal, and math skills with attention to detail.
- 9Flexibility to adapt to change and work overtime on short notice.
