Overnight Security Operations Center Coordinator, Security & Surveillance
Overview
Owns overnight security operations for multiple sites ensuring safety of staff and customers. Handles monitoring, incident response, and access control at scale across facilities. Works with security systems, reports, and emergency services to protect assets. This role emphasizes proactive detection, clear communication, and collaboration with other departments.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and monitor security events across CCTV, access control, and incident queues to identify threats
- 2Respond to theft, fires, medical emergencies, and other incidents with calibrated escalation procedures
- 3Enforce access controls by issuing badges and verifying identities for staff and visitors
- 4Communicate security guidance to customers and staff to maintain a safe environment
- 5Maintain documentation including photos, videos, and written reports for investigations and compliance
- 6Conduct live video surveillance and root-cause analysis to reduce recurring incidents
- 7Provide asset protection training and collaborate with departments to align security measures
- 8Prepare detailed security incident reports and daily activity summaries
- 9Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services during incidents
- 10Maintain awareness of emergency protocols and participate in drills and evacuations
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma preferred
- 2Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
- 3Valid state-issued driver’s license and clean MVR
- 4Ability to pass background check and drug screen where applicable
- 5Ability to travel to multiple sites and attend conferences and training
- 6Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- 7Ability to prioritize duties, manage multiple tasks, and work independently
- 8Familiarity with local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to operations
- 9Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance
- 10Experience in monitoring security systems and incident response preferred
