Security Officer, Overnight Patrol & Access Control
Overview
Protect high-end commercial real estate, data centers, and oil & gas facilities as a Security Officer for Parrish Security Group. You will own site access control, alarm response, and incident documentation across a 8-hour overnight post. Work with CCTV and badging systems alongside a small team of officers. What You'll Do9
- 1Control access to the site compound and designated facilities using badging systems and visitor logs.
- 2Enforce Post Orders and SOPs during the 11 PM - 7 AM shift, covering Tues - Sat and Fri - Tues rotations.
- 3Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, responding to alerts and escalating incidents per protocol.
- 4Write detailed incident reports for every security event, documenting time, actions, and outcomes.
- 5Patrol the property on foot, including stairwells and elevated areas, checking for hazards or unauthorized entry.
- 6De-escalate confrontations with trespassers or visitors, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
- 7Complete 3-5 days of on-site training to master site-specific procedures and emergency response.
- 8Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services during critical incidents.
- 9Maintain a clean and secure post, ensuring all equipment like flashlights and radios are operational.
Requirements8
- 1US Citizenship (native born or naturalized) required.
- 2Physically capable of standing an 8-hour post and walking or climbing stairs for extended periods.
- 3Proficient in English (written and spoken) for incident reports and client communication.
- 4High School Diploma or GED required.
- 5Computer literate with ability to use Microsoft Office and security software for logging incidents.
- 6Willingness to work overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM) including weekends.
- 7Comfortable with heights and working in elevators or stairwells.
- 8No prior security experience required; training provided on site.
