Overview
Own the overnight front desk at Planet Fitness, delivering a superior member experience during the club's busiest quiet hours. This role pairs customer service with sales to greet, check in, and support members while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. You will work alongside a small team of Club Managers and Team Leads, reporting directly to the Club Manager. The role stands out for its flexible part-time or full-time schedule and free membership as part of the benefits package.
What You'll Do9
- 1Greet and meet potential members, providing a great customer experience and $0 enrollment tours
- 2Handle front desk tasks including phone calls, member check-ins, and account updates
- 3Drive new member sales by promoting membership options and closing sign-ups
- 4Assist with BCM amenity usage, cancellations, and escalate issues to Club Manager or Team Lead
- 5Maintain club neatness and cleanliness, including equipment sanitizing
- 6Support member services by resolving questions and forwarding complex cases
- 7Use Club Management Software to update accounts and track member traffic
- 8Complete opening or closing checklists to ensure club readiness
- 9Foster a welcoming environment through friendly interactions with members and guests
Requirements8
- 11+ years in customer service or sales
- 2Basic computer proficiency with POS systems
- 3Ability to stand and walk at least 75% of the shift
- 4Strong communication and listening skills
- 5Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs less than 30% of the time
- 6Open availability including overnight shifts and weekends
- 7High school diploma or equivalent
- 8CPR/AED certification within 60 days of hire
