Overview
Own overnight in-home care for clients in Excelsior, MN, ensuring safety and comfort through the night. Collaborate with a care team across shifts to monitor well-being, provide ADL support, and maintain a clean living environment. What You'll Do9
- 1Build personal care routines and assist with activities of daily living during overnight hours to ensure comfort and safety
- 2Design and perform mobility transfers, positioning, and safety checks to minimize risk
- 3Maintain hygiene, grooming, and light meal preparation while tracking hydration needs
- 4Provide companionship, monitor health status, and report changes to the care team
- 5Drive accurate care documentation and reporting in line with care plans and policies
- 6Own the overnight environment by ensuring a clean, safe, and orderly home
- 7Scale safety measures through continuous observation and adherence to procedures
- 8Ship timely communication with family and care colleagues to coordinate care
- 9Diagnose needs during shifts and escalate issues as required to maintain well-being
Requirements5
- 1HHA CNA or PCA certification or relevant caregiving experience preferred
- 2Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach
- 3Ability to work independently with good judgment during overnight shifts
- 4Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
- 5Must pass required background screenings and be available for overnight hours
