Morning Caregiver, CNA or HHA - In-Home Care
Overview
You will own morning in-home care for seniors across the East Twin Cities, building one-on-one relationships instead of juggling facility assignments. You will work with Right at Home as a CNA, HHA, PCA, or DSP, supported by a team that offers weekly pay, paid training, and 24/7 backup. You will set your own pace with flexible schedules and consistent client assignments, starting as early as 7:00 AM. This role stands out because you deliver personalized care that lets seniors age in place, with time to focus on what matters most.
What You'll Do8
- 1Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting for clients in their homes.
- 2Offer companionship and conversation, building trust and rapport with each client.
- 3Remind clients to take medications on schedule, documenting as needed.
- 4Assist with mobility and transfers, using safe body mechanics and equipment.
- 5Prepare meals according to dietary needs and preferences, ensuring proper nutrition.
- 6Perform light housekeeping such as tidying rooms, doing dishes, and changing linens.
- 7Transport clients to appointments and errands using a reliable vehicle.
- 8Supervise clients for safety, including occasional pet care if present.
Requirements7
- 11+ years of professional hands-on caregiving experience preferred, either as CNA, HHA, PCA, DSP, or similar role.
- 2Morning availability beginning around 7:00 AM for part-time or full-time shifts.
- 3Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
- 4Ability to travel to client homes across the service area.
- 5Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and pass a background check.
- 6Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with seniors and their families.
- 7Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain during paid training).
