Overview

You will fit and deliver pre-fabricated orthotic devices, working directly with patients to evaluate needs, formulate treatment plans, and provide follow-up care. You will join a clinical team at D&J Medical, a Medicare-Certified provider in Baltimore, Maryland, accredited by the ABC and BOC. You will handle SOAP notes and administrative documentation daily. This role requires active certification or willingness to obtain it, with salary based on experience.

What You'll Do7

  • 1Fit and deliver pre-fabricated orthotic devices, including spinal, cervical, upper-limb, and lower-limb orthoses.
  • 2Evaluate patient needs and formulate individualized treatment plans.
  • 3Provide follow-up care to ensure successful outcomes.
  • 4Document patient encounters with SOAP notes and complete administrative documentation.
  • 5Collaborate with the clinical team to deliver a high-quality patient experience.
  • 6Maintain certification through ABC or BOC as required.
  • 7Work onsite in patient clinics, care facilities, or physicians' offices as needed.

Requirements7

  • 1Active certification as an ABC or BOC Orthotic Fitter, or willingness to obtain it.
  • 21+ years of experience in healthcare or orthotic bracing (preferred).
  • 3Knowledge of pre-fabricated orthotic devices and fitting techniques.
  • 4Proficiency in SOAP notes and administrative documentation.
  • 5Ability to work directly with patients in a clinical setting.
  • 6Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 7Commitment to patient-centered care and quality outcomes.
