What You'll Do9
- 1Assist orthodontist during procedures like brace placement and wire adjustments
- 2Prepare patients for treatments and address their concerns
- 3Sterilize instruments following infection control standards
- 4Maintain organized treatment rooms and supply inventory
- 5Take diagnostic X-rays and update electronic health records
- 6Fit and adjust orthodontic appliances such as retainers and expanders
- 7Provide post-treatment instructions and follow-up guidance
- 8Educate patients on appliance care and maintenance
- 9Collaborate with team to ensure a positive patient experience
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or equivalent with orthodontic assisting program completion preferred
- 21-2 years of orthodontic assisting experience focusing on clinical duties
- 3Proficiency with Python, AWS, React, and Kubernetes
- 4Knowledge of CPC Card, BCBA, and AWS Certified credentials
- 5Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
- 6Excellent communication skills for patient interaction
- 7Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
