Order Picker, Warehouse Operations
Overview
As an Order Picker at Ascend Staffing, you will own accurate product selection and order staging in a high-volume distribution environment. You will work alongside a dedicated warehouse team, using pallet jacks, carts, and order pickers to keep inventory moving. This role offers weekly pay and weekends off, with training provided for the right candidate.
What You'll Do7
- 1Pick and pull products accurately from order sheets, pick tickets, or customer orders.
- 2Locate products using item numbers, bin locations, and inventory systems.
- 3Verify product numbers, quantities, descriptions, and condition before staging.
- 4Pack, label, scan, and stage orders for shipping or production.
- 5Move materials with pallet jacks, carts, or order pickers.
- 6Replenish stock locations and maintain organized inventory.
- 7Follow all safety and quality standards during your shift.
Requirements8
- 1Prior warehouse or order picking experience preferred but not required.
- 2Ability to work in a cold environment.
- 3Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- 4Read and follow pick tickets, labels, and written instructions.
- 5Basic math and counting skills with strong attention to detail.
- 6Stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout an 8-hour shift.
- 7Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- 8Follow all safety, quality, and attendance standards.
