Order Picker
Overview
Order Picker role focuses on assembling and picking orders within shipping and CNC departments using hand tools and computer systems to process and verify parts. Work in fast-paced warehouse environment standing throughout day while ensuring orders are prepared labeled and ready for shipment.
What You'll Do11
- 1Assemble customer orders using basic hand tools and ensure all components are correctly included
- 2Pick orders accurately from warehouse inventory based on order documentation and part numbers
- 3Use a computer to enter order information check part numbers and update inventory and shipping records
- 4Perform picking packaging and labeling tasks to prepare orders for shipment
- 5Use RF scanners to locate verify and track inventory and orders within the warehouse
- 6Load and unload materials as needed to support shipping and receiving activities
- 7Operate pallet jacks to move pallets and materials safely throughout the warehouse
- 8Assist with warehouse inventory tasks including counting organizing and maintaining stock levels
- 9Support warehouse packing operations by securely packing products for shipment
- 10Work closely with the shipping team to meet daily order fulfillment and shipping deadlines
- 11Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency
Requirements12
- 1At least 1 year of experience in shipping and packing roles
- 2Basic computer skills including typing and data entry for orders and part number verification
- 3Ability to use RF scanners for picking and inventory tasks
- 4Experience with order picking packaging labeling loading unloading and warehouse inventory activities
- 5Capability to lift up to 30 lbs on a regular basis
- 6High School Diploma or GED
- 7Comfort working on your feet all day and moving throughout a warehouse environment
- 8Forklift experience is preferred
- 9Experience working in a larger warehouse or shipping team environment
- 10Familiarity with CNC or manufacturing environments is a plus
- 11Attention to detail when checking part numbers and assembling orders
- 12Strong organizational skills for managing multiple orders and inventory tasks
