Operator Trainee - Day and Swing Shift Available
Overview
We seek a reliable Operator Trainee to support corrugated production machinery setup and operations. This role involves assisting with daily production tasks machine preparation and material handling while maintaining a safe clean work environment. The ideal candidate will operate during Day or Swing shifts with potential Saturday overtime availability.
What You'll Do10
- 1Assist Operator with machine setup including slotting knives heads feed sections print plates and die-cut tooling
- 2Help mount printing plates and cutting dies as needed
- 3Ink machines and adjust ink properties using approved chemicals
- 4Clean printing plates and production equipment
- 5Feed corrugated sheets into the machine
- 6Remove strapping from corrugated bales
- 7Lift and move pallets as needed
- 8Support machine cleaning and general housekeeping duties
- 9Maintain a clean organized work area at all times
- 10Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines
Requirements8
- 1Excellent communication skills required
- 2Basic math skills required
- 3Previous machinery or manufacturing experience required
- 4Own steel-toed boots
- 5Ability to lift move and handle production materials in a fast-paced environment
- 6Strong attention to safety and detail
- 7Santa Clara CA 95050 commute required
- 85+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
