What You'll Do10
- 1Set up adjust and operate folders inserters and printing presses per work orders
- 2Inspect finished products for defects such as wrinkles misaligned folds or incorrect inserts
- 3Perform routine cleaning lubrication and minor repairs to prevent breakdowns
- 4Load paper stock ink and materials into machines
- 5Coordinate workflow with bindery teams to ensure timely project completion
- 6Maintain clean work area and follow safety protocols
- 7Operate specialized equipment including folders slitters score printers and offset flexographic or digital presses
- 8Install plates mix ink and handle bindery tasks
- 9Read work orders and translate them into operational actions
- 10Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- 21-3+ years in manufacturing printing or bindery environments
- 3Proficiency with Spark Airflow and similar data entry systems
- 4Ability to work overtime when needed
- 5Physical stamina for 8-hour shifts
- 6Knowledge of commercial printing manufacturing processes
- 7Familiarity with material handling techniques
- 8Understanding of bindery operations
