Overview
Owns warehouse supervision duties including safety, quality, and efficiency in a distribution environment. Manages work volume, schedules, and workflow to maximize cost effectiveness and on time outbound shipments. Coaches associates, handles performance evaluations, and drives process improvements. Collaborates on Safety Program initiatives and process development to support operational excellence and growth.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build schedules and assign duties to ensure efficient workflow and policy compliance
- 2Design and monitor outbound shipping processes to maintain accuracy and timeliness
- 3Lead and mentor associates, conduct performance evaluations and corrective actions
- 4Own safety program participation and contribute to Safety Committee initiatives
- 5Scale process improvements and inventory receiving data to support continuous improvement
- 6Drive issue resolution and maintain harmony among team members
- 7Ship accurate outbound orders and ensure data integrity in product databases
- 8Develop and deliver training on policies, procedures, and standard work
- 9Monitor and report on KPI performance and operational insights
Requirements6
- 1Bachelor degree from a four-year college or equivalent experience
- 2Minimum of three years of experience in warehousing or distribution
- 3Minimum of six months supervisory experience
- 4Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office
- 5Ability to travel up to 25%
- 6Strong communication and leadership skills
