Operations Manager Solar - Invenergy
Overview
The O&M Manager will lead daily operations at the Pleasant Prairie Energy Center. This role ensures safe environmentally sound facility management while meeting regulatory standards. You will oversee staff training budget preparation and supplier coordination. The position requires outdoor work flexibility and remote project management capabilities.
What You'll Do11
- 1Manage all aspects of daily facility operations safely
- 2Prepare and implement plant procedures complying with regulations
- 3Recruit and train plant staff
- 4Prepare annual budgets and status reports
- 5Coordinate with customers and suppliers
- 6Procure parts and resolve technical issues
- 7Ensure safety environmental and contractual compliance
- 8Perform quality assurance checks on technician work
- 9Assist technicians with maintenance tasks
- 10Travel up to 50 percent for regional project management
- 11Work nights during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
Requirements12
- 1Six months supervisory experience
- 2Microsoft Office proficiency
- 3Strong communication skills
- 4Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather
- 5Climb portable ladders independently
- 6Valid driver’s license
- 7Eligibility to work in the United States
- 8Two years supervisory/management experience
- 9Ten years manufacturing or skilled trade experience
- 10Experience with PV maintenance and SCADA systems
- 11Knowledge of NEC and NFPA standards
- 12Ability to read electrical diagrams
