Senior Manager Renewable Development
Overview
Invenergy seeks a Senior Manager Renewable Development to lead utility-scale solar energy storage and wind projects across the Southwest. This role manages development in Nevada Utah and Arizona aligning with corporate strategy. The position involves leading cross-functional teams securing permits managing stakeholder relationships and overseeing project lifecycle from concept to completion.
What You'll Do11
- 1Manage wind solar and energy storage projects in Nevada Utah and Arizona
- 2Lead development activities across early mid and late project stages
- 3Align projects with long term company strategy and initiatives
- 4Identify development prospects conduct market assessments and site reconnaissance
- 5Secure site control negotiate leases easements and other agreements with landowners
- 6Coordinate landowner communication efforts
- 7Represent Invenergy with customers stakeholders and officials
- 8Obtain local state and federal permits
- 9Represent Invenergy in generation interconnection activities
- 10Oversee project design and coordinate budgeting scheduling
- 11Manage tasks according to budgets and schedules including technical support coordination
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor's Degree in business or Engineering or Master's degree preferred
- 25+ years work experience in renewable and clean energy industry
- 3Travel 25 percent to 40 percent of time
- 4Valid driver's license
- 5Eligible to work in United States without employer visa sponsorship
- 6Strong organizational networking leadership time management and accounting skills
- 7Ability to write effective concise reports
- 8Familiarity with solar project development real estate development transmission and power project engineering
Salary Insight
$150 - $190k per year
