Operations Manager, Flooring & Construction Services
Overview
Operations Manager at 50Floor leads branch operations from warehouse to job site, driving revenue while upholding safety and quality. You will support the General Sales Manager, coach contractors and staff, and ensure a seamless customer experience. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and oversee branch operations to ensure profitability and quality workmanship
- 2Lead and coach operations team and contractors to meet service standards and performance goals
- 3Conduct educational meetings to expand knowledge and drive performance across the field
- 4Assist in contractor onboarding and manage escalated customer issues to timely resolutions
- 5Perform site visits to verify installation quality and address service issues
- 6Fill in for the GM during planned or unplanned absences and peak periods
- 7Travel to travel within a 75 mile radius as needed to support operations
- 8Manage quality control and safety compliance across all projects
- 9Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to influence outcomes
- 10Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and efficiency
Requirements10
- 13+ years of related experience including leading teams and driving performance
- 2Experience in home improvement or flooring industries preferred but not required
- 3Familiarity with diverse flooring products (hardwood, carpet, tile, laminate) is a plus
- 4BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- 5Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- 6Basic MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- 7Ability to communicate and train individuals or small groups effectively
- 8Strong problem solving and proactive approach with urgency in service delivery
- 9Comfortable with a flexible schedule including Saturdays and after-hours calls
- 10Willingness to travel 25-50% within a 75-mile radius
