Overview
Manage lot progress pre-installation installation completion including flooring counters solid surfaces cabinets and blinds. Ensure highest quality per builder and customer expectations. Field Manager oversees work at construction jobsites occupied residences and offices.
What You'll Do11
- 1Lead crews to complete flooring countertop solid surface cabinet and blind installations on schedule
- 2Conduct daily site inspections and quality control checks
- 3Adjust builder schedules using project management software and compare purchase orders to work orders
- 4Supervise multiple trade teams including tile wood vinyl carpet countertop and cabinet installers
- 5Track material usage and coordinate deliveries to maintain inventory accuracy
- 6Communicate safety protocols and OSHA regulations to all staff members
- 7Prepare routine reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
- 8Assist Customer Service Department as needed to resolve field issues
- 9Perform accurate field measurements and understand take-off processes for material orders
- 10Coordinate with independent contractors to meet builder timelines and requirements
- 11Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines
Requirements9
- 15+ years leading teams in construction environments
- 24-5 years experience managing multiple trades including tile wood vinyl carpet countertop and cabinet installation
- 32-3 years field management experience
- 4Entry-level computer skills and knowledge of basic systems applications and handheld devices
- 5Ability to speak effectively with customers and employees
- 6Basic math skills for calculations percentages area circumference linear feet yardage and square footage
- 7Proficiency reading and comprehending plans builder communications training materials safety rules operating and maintenance instructions procedure manuals
- 8Experience writing routine reports and correspondence
- 9Clean driving record and valid driver's license
