Construction Superintendent, Commercial Flooring
Overview
Lead commercial interior installation projects from start to finish for a 28-year-old Orlando firm. You'll own schedules, budgets, quality, and client satisfaction across flooring, modular walls, acoustic ceilings, and furniture. Supervise a crew of 2-3 direct reports, coordinate with Core/Moss teams, and enforce OSHA 30 standards on-site. What You'll Do8
- 1Lead installation crews across flooring, modular walls, acoustic ceilings, and furniture, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
- 2Serve as the primary liaison with Core/Moss teams, communicating project updates and resolving issues to maintain alignment.
- 3Conduct thorough walkthroughs to identify punch list items and deficiencies, then coordinate timely resolution and document corrective actions.
- 4Own assigned projects end-to-end, managing schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction while mitigating risks.
- 5Track daily labor hours and material usage with project tracking tools to optimize resource allocation and reduce waste.
- 6Build strong client relationships and address concerns promptly to drive satisfaction and repeat business.
- 7Enforce OSHA standards and company safety protocols through regular meetings and site inspections.
- 8Attend weekly Vertical L10 meetings and training to improve product knowledge and operational alignment.
Requirements10
- 15+ years of experience in commercial installation or construction supervision.
- 2OSHA 30 Certification required.
- 3High School Diploma required.
- 4Proven leadership managing field teams and complex projects.
- 5Strong communication and organizational skills.
- 6Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- 7Experience with Core/Moss systems or similar project management platforms.
- 8Proficiency in project tracking tools and reporting systems.
- 9Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
- 10Experience in customer-facing roles with a focus on satisfaction and service.
