Operations Lead, Retail Logistics & Sales Ops
Overview
Operations Lead will own end-to-end sales operations, logistics, and fulfillment across ecommerce and retail channels at scale. Lead and develop a growing team while building scalable processes to support DTC, Amazon, and major retail partners. You will partner with cross-functional teams to align execution with business goals and drive measurable improvements. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and mentor the Sales Operations and Logistics team to achieve service levels and scalability.
- 2Design and manage end-to-end workflows across Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, ERP, EDI, and retailer systems to optimize throughput.
- 3Oversee retail purchase orders, order processing, fulfillment performance, and compliance to retailer requirements.
- 4Manage relationships with 3PLs, freight providers, and carriers to ensure cost-effective fulfillment.
- 5Support onboarding of new retail partners and sales channels while ensuring operational readiness.
- 6Maintain SKU accuracy, product data integrity, and inventory visibility across platforms.
- 7Oversee returns management, reverse logistics, and retailer chargeback resolution.
- 8Monitor KPI performance and implement improvements to raise service levels and efficiency.
- 9Partner with Supply Chain, Systems, Growth, and Leadership to align execution with business goals.
- 10Manage operational budgets and drive cost-effective process improvements.
Requirements10
- 14+ years of experience in fulfillment, logistics, sales operations, or related operational leadership roles.
- 2Experience supporting both DTC/Amazon and B2B retail channels.
- 3Direct leadership experience managing operations or logistics teams.
- 4Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central.
- 5Experience with Shopify and order management processes.
- 6NetSuite ERP or similar ERP system experience.
- 7Strong understanding of retailer compliance, chargebacks, routing guides, and operational requirements.
- 8Experience managing 3PLs, freight partners, and vendor relationships.
- 9Knowledge of customs, tariffs, and regulatory compliance.
- 10Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
