What You'll Do11

  • 1Manage bookkeeping payroll taxes reimbursements and deposits while preparing monthly quarterly and annual financial reports
  • 2Coordinate audits prepare W-2s 1099s year end reports and maintain all financial records
  • 3Handle daily office operations files contracts calendars and communications
  • 4Support the President Executive Director and Executive Board by preparing agendas minutes and union correspondence
  • 5Organize purchasing employee onboarding meetings and office logistics
  • 6Prepare agendas minutes and coordination of conferences travel scheduling and special UF projects
  • 7Maintain and update the UF website
  • 8Manage memberships dues records and list coordinate elections membership surveys and data collection
  • 9Prepare FPPC reports and maintain compliance
  • 10Observe all district holidays and scheduled campus closures without using vacation leave
  • 11Provide independent research summarization and organization of information

Requirements10

  • 1Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • 2Bookkeeping payroll experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • 3Strong organizational customer service and time-management abilities
  • 4Excellent communication and professional judgment
  • 5California Driver License preferred
  • 6Ability to work independently prioritize projects and meet deadlines
  • 7Experience in labor unions or nonprofit settings
  • 8Community college or higher education experience
  • 9Website management skills Canva design skills
  • 10Contract interpretation and research capabilities
