What You'll Do11

  • 1Supervise a team of financial service analysts to execute financial journals and manage transactions
  • 2Analyze financial reports and budgets for academic departments and business units
  • 3Conduct salary analysis and support reclassifications for the department
  • 4Serve as backup for the Assistant Dean of Finance and handle delegated financial approvals
  • 5Develop and assign operational tasks aligned with divisional objectives
  • 6Lead team meetings and provide coaching to ensure productivity and performance
  • 7Manage the recharge system as the divisional contact
  • 8Ensure compliance with university policies and internal controls for financial transactions
  • 9Prepare and update financial and budget reports for academic units
  • 10Partner with divisional leaders to improve financial service processes
  • 11Act as representative in meetings with campus leadership on financial matters

Requirements8

  • 1Bachelor's degree in finance or related field with 5+ years experience
  • 2Extensive knowledge of finance policies and systems with advanced spreadsheet skills
  • 3Proven ability to supervise and mentor staff in a high-volume environment
  • 4Strong communication and client service orientation
  • 5Experience with UCPath financial systems and internal controls
  • 6Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis
  • 7Ability to work remotely with flexible schedule and self-management skills
  • 8Background check and compliance with university policies required
