Onsite System Analyst, Master Data & Warehouse Automation
Overview
You will own master data integrity and automation system performance for a high-volume distribution center, supporting WITRON's automated logistics. You will maintain item data, troubleshoot system issues, and optimize workflows across customer and internal teams. Reporting to operations leadership, you will collaborate with WMS specialists, maintenance, and IT to drive continuous improvement. This role offers direct impact on system efficiency and data accuracy in a large-scale automated environment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Maintain and manage Master Data for all SKUs, including final review and setup of new items, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- 2Monitor and analyze system reports to identify data inconsistencies and automation issues, then take corrective action within 90 days.
- 3Review daily operational reports to enhance Master Data quality, eliminating redundant user entries and addressing data integrity gaps.
- 4Collaborate with customer Master Data teams to identify improvement opportunities, providing training and support as needed.
- 5Review daily automation operations for compliance with standard operating procedures, adjusting machinery specifications and modes to optimize item handling.
- 6Support performance and packaging tests for new products and vendor designs, ensuring compatibility within the automation framework.
- 7Lead continuous improvement initiatives with operations and maintenance teams to streamline processes and boost efficiency.
- 8Act as liaison between customers, helpdesk, internal teams (VPs, IT, compliance), and third-party vendors, managing change requests from review to deployment.
- 9Diagnose and resolve technical issues with WMS integrations, performing system checks and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- 10Generate performance reports and document workflows, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures to support knowledge sharing.
Requirements10
- 11+ years experience with automated warehouse systems or operational experience in a similar high-volume logistics environment.
- 2Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), with advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- 3Basic understanding of Cubi Scan and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- 4Strong analytical thinking with scenario testing and impact analysis capabilities.
- 5Excellent written and verbal communication, able to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- 6Ability to build relationships across internal teams, customer organizations, and external vendors.
- 7Technical proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and workflows.
- 8Ability to climb vertical ladders and work at heights up to 100 feet with provided fall protection training and PPE.
- 9Ability to work in temperature conditions ranging from 55°F to -15°F (13°C to -26°C), with PPE provided.
- 10Minimum high school diploma; post-secondary education in a technical or data-related field is an asset.
