Overview

Field-based role managing accounts within Washington Oregon Hawaii Alaska California Idaho Montana. Responsible for establishing products on customer formularies and enhancing US Commercial as a pharmaceutical industry leader.

What You'll Do20

  • 1Scope of responsibilities applies primarily to assigned accounts including Community Oncology and Health Systems HCDMs (Healthcare Decision Makers).
  • 2Lead discussions with client accounts; ensure contract implementation and compliance.
  • 3Contribute to development of contracting templates and guidelines for customers.
  • 4Operational pull through with AbbVie Oncology Portfolio of products in both the hematology and solid tumor franchises.
  • 5Product positioning: develop product strategies for all promoted and/or contracted products and overall product access, utilization optimization, and/or maintenance plan for each.
  • 6Identify and effectively utilize appropriate inter-franchise support.
  • 7Conduct thorough competitive analysis.
  • 8Pull-through / Sell – through sales: Develop and lead the execution of a variety of customized sales strategies.
  • 9Advise Sales and Marketing executive management on contract terms to ensure appropriate direction on challenges and opportunities.
  • 10Manage and coordinate customer and sales force expectations.
  • 11Cultivate contacts and relationships with key stakeholders representing a broad range of functions and management levels, both internal and external.
  • 12Provide guidance and assistance relative to company-wide and franchise-specific opportunities within targeted accounts.
  • 13Coordinate efforts to leverage and/or maximize utilization of corporate resources.
  • 14Assess and account for all resources required (e.g., funding, staffing, etc) to accomplish account objectives.
  • 15Responsible for providing timely and accurate dissemination of information (oral as well as written) of account-specific and global trade issues that impact AbbVie business.
  • 16Communication flow will include all levels within AbbVie from Vice President to Account Manager and District Manager.
  • 17Provide direction in the following manner to local/regional field sales and account management and franchise groups.
  • 18Assess and cultivate business relationships with key clients independent of contract status.
  • 19Activities specifically designed to enhance patient and provider information flow, strengthen product positioning and increase marketing and field sales efficiencies.
  • 20Identify new customers or organizations with the potential to impact AbbVie business, work with leadership to build positive relationships.

Requirements9

  • 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
  • 23-5 seasons experience
  • 32-3 years Sales management experience
  • 42-3 years Sales and/or Marketing in Oncology
  • 53-4 years Account management experience
  • 68+ total combined years of experience
  • 7Driving a personal auto or company car or truck, or a powered piece of material handling equipment.
  • 8Valid driver’s license: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements.
  • 9Satisfy all applicable healthcare industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements to gain and maintain entry into facilities and organizations that are in your assigned territory.
