Nursing Supervisor Part Time 28 Hours
Overview
Supervise clinical operations across nursing floors during absence of senior leadership. Prorated compensation based on 40 hour work week. Oversee daily operations and administrative tasks when executive staff are unavailable.

- 1Communicate with patients families and health professionals respectfully
- 2Conduct clinical rounds to verify appropriate nursing care
- 3Support rapid medical interventions during patient status changes
- 4Maintain safety protocols for patients visitors and staff
- 5Intervene in crises and immediate management scenarios
- 6Handle family matters requiring urgent attention
- 7Monitor compliance with nursing standards policies and procedures
- 8Adjust staffing schedules to address immediate operational needs
- 9Collaborate with Nurse Managers and DONs on performance reviews
- 10Implement corrective actions for identified issues
- 11Provide counseling and development advice to nursing staff
- 12Coordinate with Nursing Operations Manager on scheduling and clinical matters
- 13Ensure proper use of supplies within budget constraints
- 14Develop and lead education programs with Professional Development Department
- 15Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- 16Maintain collaborative relationships with support facilities staff
- 17Track and report required documentation and records
Requirements10
- 1Graduate of accredited nursing school
- 2Current Massachusetts RN license
- 3Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- 4Two years supervisory experience in healthcare setting
- 5ACLS certification
- 6B.L.S. certification
- 7Experience with EHR systems
- 8Familiarity with healthcare compliance frameworks
- 9Strong problem-solving abilities
- 10Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
