Nursing Supervisor RN
Overview
The Nursing Supervisor RN leads nursing staff to improve resident quality of life. This full-time onsite role in Minneapolis offers a supportive faith-based environment. We seek candidates who can drive excellence in care across assisted living skilled nursing and memory care.
What You'll Do16
- 1Supervise professional and non-professional nursing staff
- 2Ensure quality of care through daily rounds assessing effectiveness satisfaction and compliance
- 3Manage building operations during assigned shifts
- 4Explain nursing policies and procedures while assisting staff with training
- 5Collaborate with Director of Nursing on staff evaluations discipline and motivation
- 6Communicate regularly with leadership about observations and suggestions
- 7Provide nursing care explanations to residents and families
- 8Administer direct or emergency care as needed
- 9Respond to emergencies contact EMS when required
- 10Handle special projects assigned by the Director of Nursing
- 11Assign work areas and relocate staff to maintain care standards
- 12Assist in orientation of new nursing personnel and reinforce training
- 13Maintain functional and sanitary nursing units and equipment
- 14Report maintenance needs following established procedures
- 15Ensure patient safety through proper equipment use and knowledge of safety protocols
- 16Coordinate care with other departments physicians consultants staff and families
Requirements8
- 1Graduate of an approved nursing school
- 2Currently licensed RN in Minnesota
- 3Two years nursing experience required
- 4Two years supervisory experience required
- 5Certification such as CPC Card or BCBA
- 6Experience with AWS and Kubernetes preferred
- 75+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 8Strong communication and leadership skills
