Nurse Manager – LTC Rehabilitation leads day-to-day clinical operations for a skilled nursing and rehabilitation unit serving an aging population in Baltimore. What You'll Do10
- 1Lead clinical operations for LTC rehabilitation, ensuring resident-centered care and compliance
- 2Develop and mentor nursing staff to improve clinical quality and teamwork
- 3Engage residents and families to address care needs and changes in condition
- 4Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain high standards of care and safety
- 5Monitor outcomes, drive quality improvement initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance
- 6Role model professional practice, accountability, and effective communication across shifts
- 7Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource management to support patient flow
- 8Support front-line nurses through change management and performance feedback
- 9Maintain visibility and accessibility to staff, residents, and families
- 10Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and continuous improvement
Requirements10
- 1Graduate of a CCNE-accredited nursing program
- 2ASN or higher required
- 3Active Maryland RN license
- 4Current AHA BLS/CPR certification
- 5Five to seven years nursing experience in LTC, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation
- 6Minimum two years in nursing leadership or supervisory role
- 7Previous management experience required
- 8Strong clinical knowledge of geriatric, subacute, rehabilitation, or memory care populations
- 9Strong interpersonal and communication skills with staff, residents, and families
- 10Willingness to travel occasionally
