Nurse Manager II Hospital Operating Room
Overview
We seek an experienced Nurse Manager II Operating Room to lead perioperative nursing operations in a high-acuity hospital environment. The role oversees clinical care delivery staffing quality outcomes regulatory compliance and operational performance within the Operating Room and procedure suite. This position ensures safe efficient high-quality surgical care through collaboration with physicians surgical teams and hospital leadership.

- 7Maintain clinical expertise and provide guidance on perioperative nursing standards
- 8Delegate tasks aligned with scope of practice and clinical competency
- 9Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission Nursing Practice Act and regulatory requirements
- 10Drive patient safety initiatives and quality improvement programs
- 11Monitor adherence to infection control surgical safety and perioperative best practices
- 12Support audit readiness and continuous survey preparedness
- 13Translate organizational goals into operational action plans for assigned units
- 14Manage budgets payroll and resource utilization
- 15Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement process improvements
- 16Collaborate with physicians surgical teams and interdisciplinary departments
- 17Resolve patient family and staff concerns related to care delivery
- 18Support emergency preparedness and operational continuity planning
- 19Coordinate across departments for safe and timely surgical care
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- 2Minimum 5 years of experience in patient care delivery
- 3Minimum 5 years of experience in business operations clinical healthcare or related field
- 4Minimum 4 years of leadership experience (with or without direct reports)
- 5Active Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license at time of hire
