What You'll Do12
- 1Develop and maintain professional functional working relationships with IHOP Team Members and guests
- 2Execute IHOP service standards to ensure high quality guest experience
- 3Handle guest complaints in a timely manner
- 4Communicate guest food orders and service requests accurately
- 5Memorize and apply IHOP terminology abbreviation methodologies and plating menu knowledge
- 6Comply with IHOP standards regarding guest checks and cash control
- 7Stock and rotate supplies in service areas and dining room
- 8Comply with regulations and IHOP Safety Manual health sanitation standards
- 9Clear clean and reset tables and furniture after guests leave
- 10Perform cleaning duties according to posted charts
- 11Follow uniform appearance standards
- 12Complete other assignments as assigned by manager
Requirements9
- 1Ability to read and comprehend instructions correspondence and memos
- 2Ability to write guest checks and simple correspondence
- 3Ability to read and speak English well enough to understand guest checks
- 4Mathematical skills for adding subtracting multiplying dividing whole numbers fractions decimals
- 5Reasoning ability to apply common sense to detailed written or oral instructions
- 6Physical demands including using hands handling objects reaching standing walking stooping kneeling climbing balancing
- 7Occasional need to lift up to 25 pounds
- 8Frequent standing walking stooping kneeling crouching crawling talking hearing tasting smelling
- 9Work environment exposure to fumes airborne particles moderate noise levels
