Night Auditor, Hotel Front Desk - Nashville
Overview
You'll own the overnight shift at the DoubleTree by Hilton Nashville Downtown, balancing guest service with the precision of closing and resetting systems for a seamless next morning. Working with the front desk team in a 343-room property, you'll handle arrivals, departures, and resolve issues while ensuring all revenue and settlement reports are accurate. You'll also prepare Food & Beverage revenue reports and use the PMS to generate daily summaries. This role is central to guest satisfaction and financial integrity, making it perfect for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a service-driven environment.
What You'll Do7
- 1Deliver exceptional service by responding promptly to guest questions and requests, ensuring a memorable stay
- 2Prepare daily Food & Beverage revenue reports with accuracy and care
- 3Create and balance PMS reports for revenue and settlement accounts, making corrections as needed
- 4Resolve computer issues that arise during the overnight shift, ensuring minimal disruption
- 5Enter revenue, expenses, and allowances into the computer system to produce the Guest Ledger Summary and Daily Restaurant Summary
- 6Complete check-ins and check-outs, and answer phone calls with professionalism
- 7Address guest concerns with attentive service recovery, turning potential issues into positive experiences
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 21+ year experience as a Guest Services Agent required
- 3Hotel experience preferred
- 4Knowledge of accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and server service fees
- 5Basic math skills for financial reporting
- 6Comfortable using MS Suite - Outlook, Word, Excel
- 7CPR/First Aid Certification required
- 8Previous hotel PMS experience a plus (e.g., OnQ)
