MRI Technologist, Trinity Health Michigan
Overview
Operate state-of-the-art MRI equipment to perform complex anatomical imaging at Trinity Health Oakland. You will own image quality and patient safety across 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts. Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure diagnostic accuracy. ARRT certification and BLS are required, with advanced MRI registry within one year. What You'll Do6
- 1Perform high-quality MRI procedures using advanced imaging techniques, adjusting protocols for patient anatomy and pathology.
- 2Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to optimize imaging outcomes for complex cases.
- 3Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout the imaging process, following MRI safety protocols.
- 4Operate independently, managing workflow with minimal supervision in a busy hospital setting.
- 5Document patient history and scanning parameters accurately in the PACS system.
- 6Participate in the structured MRI training program to deepen expertise in protocols, safety, and anatomy.
Requirements7
- 1High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2Completion of an approved MRI program required.
- 3Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
- 41-2 years of MRI technologist experience preferred, but training available for strong candidates.
- 5ARRT certification required.
- 6Advanced registry in MRI (ARRT) required within 1 year of hire.
- 7Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
