What You'll Do11
- 1Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients
- 2Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols
- 3Administer contrast as needed safely and effectively
- 4Understand and use TR TE flip angle slice thickness acquisitions field of view and other adjustments to produce high quality images
- 5Guide patients through difficult processes with clear explanations
- 6Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients
- 7Demonstrate competency safeguarding patient property and PHI
- 8Safeguard on site medications according to policies
- 9Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers
- 10Interact diplomatically with patients families and public
- 11Establish cooperative working relationships
Requirements5
- 1ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification
- 2State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable
- 3BLS certification
- 4Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations
- 5At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred
