What You'll Do8
- 1Screen patients for implants and research clearance to ensure safety before MRI scans.
- 2Position patients precisely to capture diagnostic images using MRI equipment.
- 3Administer contrast agents with aseptic technique per protocol.
- 4Document radiological services accurately in patient charts.
- 5Maintain equipment and rooms, ensuring sterility and supply stock.
- 6Explain procedures to patients with empathy to reduce anxiety.
- 7Perform advanced MR studies independently following radiologist protocols.
- 8Train and guide new technologists on MRI procedures and standards.
Requirements8
- 1ARRT or ARMRIT registration required.
- 2Graduate of an accredited MRI certification program.
- 3Previous experience in diagnostic radiology or imaging setting.
- 4Proficiency in running advanced MR studies independently.
- 5CPR-BLS certification required.
- 6Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- 7Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- 8Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary Insight
