Lead a classroom of up to 20 children ages 3-5 in a multi-state network serving under-resourced communities. - 1Design and deliver instructional activities using the Bezos Academy curriculum to meet group and individual needs
- 2Create and maintain an organized Montessori environment with necessary resources
- 3Use assessment tools to inform instruction and track student progress
- 4Maintain regular communication with families about student development and needs
- 5Supervise and support assistant teachers and participate in professional development
- 6Engage in collaborative professional growth and contribute to a positive learning community
- 7Provide feedback during Montessori credentialing and support for teachers in training
- 8Foster inclusive classrooms that reflect diversity and equity
- 9Utilize technology to support instruction
- 10Adapt teaching strategies to individual student development and learning styles
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor's degree or 4 years of Montessori Primary Lead Teacher experience
- 2Two or more years of experience as a lead teacher or guide
- 3Demonstrated Montessori knowledge for ages 3-6
- 4Ability to meet credentialing criteria for lead early childhood teacher-caregivers in Arizona
- 5Ability to pass fingerprint clearance and background checks and complete required training
- 6Experience monitoring and maintaining records of student progress
- 7Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs
- 8Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
