Lead Childcare Teacher, Montessori Infant Toddler
Overview
You will lead a mixed-age classroom for children ages 0–3 in a Montessori environment designed to nurture independence, curiosity, and confidence. You will observe each child closely, prepare a beautiful and orderly environment, and build warm relationships with families. You will partner with a collaborative team and receive fully sponsored Montessori certification through the Prepared Montessorian Institute. This role offers a competitive salary of $40,000–$50,000 and a 75% tuition discount for up to two children.
What You'll Do7
- 1Observe each child to understand and support their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
- 2Respect and follow each child's natural rhythms for sleeping, eating, and toileting.
- 3Prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly environment that fosters trust, movement, and exploration.
- 4Support independence by encouraging children to participate in care activities.
- 5Build warm, meaningful relationships with children and families.
- 6Partner closely with parents to support each child's growth and development.
- 7Lead and collaborate with classroom team members to create a strong, respectful community.
Requirements5
- 1Interest in pursuing fully sponsored Montessori certification through the Prepared Montessorian Institute, or prior Montessori diploma.
- 2Experience working with children ages 0–3 in a daycare, preschool, or early childcare setting.
- 3Alignment with child-led educational philosophies (Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or similar).
- 4Required ECE or Child Development credits.
- 5Bachelor's degree in a child-related field.
