What You'll Do8

  • 1Build and maintain real-time monitoring workflows using Spark and Airflow
  • 2Design and execute protocols for processing patient records from admission to discharge
  • 3Analyze EKG strips and document arrhythmia intervals for nursing and clinical teams
  • 4Troubleshoot monitor hardware and report issues to Charge Nurse or Clinical Supervisor
  • 5Obtain and manage EKG and relevant waveform documentation
  • 6Lead efforts to improve monitoring accuracy and reduce false positives
  • 7Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during emergencies to ensure rapid response
  • 8Utilize information systems to track patient status and escalation needs

Requirements6

  • 1High School GED or High School Diploma
  • 2Basic EKG certification or successful completion of Basic Rhythm test
  • 3Basic Life Support CPR certification
  • 4Medical terminology coursework or related training
  • 5One year of Monitor Tech experience in acute care settings
  • 6Prior experience with patient care modules or personal computers
