Lead military and community relations initiatives while driving insurance sales for Geico Sugar Land. Own relationship building and partnership development across military and civilian sectors. Shape agency reputation within the Greater Houston community.
What You'll Do15
- 1Build and maintain relationships with organizations military leaders veterans groups schools nonprofits
- 2Represent agency at military community Chamber of Commerce and networking events
- 3Coordinate military appreciation initiatives throughout the year
- 4Strengthen partnerships with USO American Legion JROTC programs and community partners
- 5Identify new partnership opportunities supporting military families and veterans
- 6Assist with event planning sponsorships volunteer opportunities and community outreach
- 7Maintain professional positive image within community
- 8Generate referrals through community relationships and networking
- 9Educate customers on coverage options and recommend appropriate protection
- 10Cross-sell additional insurance products
- 11Meet or exceed monthly sales goals
- 12Maintain accurate records within agency CRM systems
- 13Assist in planning Military Initiatives such as USO Trunk or Treat Military-connected school initiatives Veterans Day Parades Toys for Tots Thanksgiving for Military Families JROTC Leadership Scholarships Community volunteer projects
- 14Demonstrate self motivation goal orientation independent work ability to work evenings and weekends
- 15Obtain Property & Casualty Insurance License willing to pursue
Requirements5
- 1Honorably discharged U.S. military veteran preferred military spouse or immediate family member with Fort Campbell ties
- 25+ years experience building ETL pipelines with Spark Airflow
- 3Valid driver’s license reliable transportation
- 4Professional appearance demeanor
- 5Self-motivated goal oriented ability to work independently
