What You'll Do9
- 1Lead a team of MHE Technicians I-III, assigning tasks and ensuring completion of daily maintenance and repair work on fleet equipment.
- 2Diagnose and repair electrical systems using PLC troubleshooting and AC/DC motor controllers, applying schematics for hydraulic and mechanical components.
- 3Execute preventive maintenance on MHE fleet including oil changes, belt and chain replacements, and safety inspections per manufacturer specs.
- 4Mentor technicians in advanced repair techniques, focusing on PLC logic and motor control systems to build bench strength.
- 5Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns, coordinating repairs to minimize operational downtime and ensure safety.
- 6Track all labor and parts in the CMMS system, logging work orders and PMs to maintain accurate maintenance records.
- 7Oversee battery maintenance including charger repairs, battery changes, and watering, ensuring full fleet availability.
- 8Complete welding and fabrication projects on equipment and facility fixtures as needed.
- 9Adhere to OSHA and company safety policies, enforcing PPE use and maintaining a clean work environment.
Requirements9
- 16+ years in MHE maintenance or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2High School diploma or GED; tech school certificate preferred.
- 3Powered Industrial Equipment Certification from Sysco within 3 months.
- 4MHE 8 hour maintenance tech certificate from manufacturer like Crown, Raymond, or Hyster.
- 5Valid state driver's license with proof of liability coverage.
- 6Proficient in electrical meter testing, PLC troubleshooting, and AC/DC motor starters.
- 7Knowledge of hydraulic systems and schematics, including transmissions and braking systems.
- 8Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in varied conditions including confined spaces and extreme temperatures.
- 9Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.

$85 - $129k per year
