What You'll Do12
- 1Supervise clients according to facility policies and trauma informed principles
- 2Support client needs using culturally responsive approaches
- 3Document mental health interventions and health data in electronic systems
- 4Wake clients and assist with school preparation including medication administration
- 5Conduct morning check ins to set daily goals
- 6Assign and supervise daily maintenance tasks such as cleaning and meal setup
- 7Transport clients to medical dental and community appointments safely
- 8Check in with overnight staff regarding resident status and incidents
- 9Perform bedroom inspections when students are at school
- 10Conduct 30 minute rounds throughout the shift
- 11Attend weekly staff meetings and participate in conflict resolution
- 12Maintain confidentiality and follow mandated reporter obligations
Requirements9
- 1Valid California driver license and insurance
- 2Pass required clearances including TB test and background checks
- 3Minimum age 21 years
- 4Bachelor of arts or sciences degree or equivalent experience
- 5Relevant experience in youth care or education
- 6Ability to lift 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as listed
- 7Strong communication and organizational abilities
- 8Experience with trauma informed care principles
