Medical Records Technician, HIPAA Data Entry & EHR Support
Overview
Own the scanning and digital filing workflow for patient records across multiple facilities. You will collect, organize, and digitize documents while maintaining HIPAA compliance at scale. Work with EHR systems and medical staff to ensure accurate, accessible records. This role blends healthcare operations with technology use in a contract, onsite setting.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build digital records by creating electronic copies and storing them securely
- 2Design and maintain organized patient record systems across facilities
- 3Ship data by using electronic systems to collect, organize, and manage records
- 4Own HIPAA compliance and confidentiality protocols in daily data handling
- 5Manage printer and scanner troubleshooting to ensure uninterrupted workflows
Requirements5
- 1Must have valid driver’s license and clean MVR
- 2Available to visit facilities from 08:00 am to 05:00 pm in respective time zone
- 3Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- 4Experience with Electronic Health Records EHR/EMR such as Epic Cerner Meditech
- 5Proficiency with Word Excel and Outlook for documentation and communication

$18 - $21k per year
