What You'll Do11

  • 2Report suspected fraud incidents to the Administrator promptly
  • 3Ensure patient records are accurately maintained and indexed
  • 4Prepare quality assessment reports for performance improvement
  • 5Develop procedures for proper record completion and filing
  • 6Schedule assessments with the MDS Coordinator following OBRA guidelines
  • 7Exercise independent decision-making in daily operations
  • 8Collaborate with staff to reduce supply waste and equipment misuse
  • 9Implement new methods and integrate them into existing practices
  • 10Utilize computer skills for data retrieval and system input
  • 11Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy policies

Requirements9

  • 1Two years of experience in medical records and health information systems
  • 2Strong understanding of medical terminology and coding principles
  • 3Proficiency in typing 45 words per minute with dictation equipment
  • 4Background check and pre-employment physical required
  • 5Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively
  • 6Experience with healthcare compliance regulations
