What You'll Do20

- 3Perform venipuncture and specimen collection following training and policy
- 4Process laboratory orders track results and report abnormalities to providers
- 5Provide patient education materials and administer screenings such as depression PreP-related and tobacco use
- 6Follow infection control standards OSHA guidelines and universal precautions
- 7Deliver courteous culturally respectful professional patient interactions
- 8Facilitate communication between patients providers and care teams
- 9Conduct appointment reminder calls and no-show outreach per policy
- 10Assist with referrals and coordinate specialty care when directed
- 11Verify patient demographics insurance and PCP information each visit
- 12Support scheduling workflows and patient portal enrollment
- 13Maintain organized medical records and appointment systems
- 14Monitor exam room supplies and request replenishment as needed
- 15Report equipment concerns or malfunctions promptly
- 16Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams
- 17Follow organizational policies professional conduct standards and attendance requirements

Requirements12
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2Certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant or Medical Office Assistant program required
- 3Current BLS certification American Heart Association required
- 4Minimum 1 year of experience preferred ambulatory care experience a plus
- 5Proficiency in EHR systems and data entry
- 6Strong organizational communication and customer service skills
- 7Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- 8Fluency in English required Spanish bilingual preferred
- 9Reasonable accommodations available ability to stand walk and move throughout a clinical environment for extended periods
- 10Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and handle medical supplies or equipment
- 11Ability to perform fine motor tasks such as data entry and specimen handling
