What You'll Do9
- 1Demonstrate proficiency following testing procedures and policies for equipment and work area
- 2Prepare reagents and manage inventory to reduce departmental waste
- 3Exercise clinical judgment to solve test system problems through proper channels
- 4Assist with accreditation procedure reviews and revisions
- 5Maintain clear communication between shifts and leadership about operational issues
- 6Participate in change initiatives through staff meetings and project involvement
- 7Perform all assigned duties including handling biohazardous materials
- 8Lift moderate loads up to 50 pounds as part of daily tasks
- 9Follow safety protocols in environments with infectious and hazardous materials
Requirements5
- 1Associate degree or equivalent education with CLIA.MLT registry eligibility
- 2MLT certification through ASCP/AMT or U.S. military medical laboratory training
- 35+ years of laboratory experience
- 4Strong understanding of chemistry testing methodologies
- 5Ability to follow strict quality control procedures
