What You'll Do11
- 1Collect and process patient blood via venipuncture and capillary puncture
- 2Process nonblood specimens accurately and timely
- 3Perform minor laboratory tests including chemistry hematology and urinalysis
- 4Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure clean workspace
- 5Train new team members on standard work processes
- 6Report test results and abnormal findings to clinical staff
- 7Handle blood and body fluids following sterile technique
- 8Perform phlebotomy according to age-specific guidelines
- 9Receive and collect urine specimens for testing
- 10Maintain specimen labeling and documentation
- 11Comply with OSHA regulations and infection control policies
Requirements8
- 1High School Diploma or GED required
- 2Certification in phlebotomy preferred
- 35+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 4Knowledge of laboratory equipment and testing operations
- 5Understanding of medical terminology for effective communication
- 6Proficiency with computer systems and applications
- 7Awareness of organizational policies and safety protocols
- 8Experience with common safety hazards and universal precautions
