What You'll Do11
- 1Adhere to Medical Assistant scope of practice and maintain competency in pediatric specialties
- 2Assist department leader with staffing schedules medication ordering and operational audits
- 3Train new hires and serve as resource for team members
- 4Champion quality safety and patient experience initiatives
- 5Perform clinical tasks including vital signs medication reconciliation and point-of-care testing
- 6Manage laboratory duties and CLIA compliant testing procedures
- 7Administer medications vaccines and follow proper administration rights
- 8Complete required certifications and competency assessments
- 9Maintain clean work environment and ensure equipment functionality
- 10Develop age-specific care plans based on patient growth and development principles
- 11Collaborate with providers on procedures and patient management
Requirements11
- 1High school diploma or GED required
- 2Accredited Medical Assistant program or military clinical training equivalent
- 3Current AHA BLS certification
- 4Certified as CMA or RMA by recognized organization
- 5Minimum four years clinical medical assistant experience
- 6Demonstrated ability to lift 35 pounds
- 7Proficiency with electronic medical records and computer systems
- 8Strong communication and teamwork skills
- 9Experience with immunizations EKG and aseptic techniques
- 10Knowledge of pediatric growth principles and patient assessment
- 11Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
